Description

The Office of Naval Intelligence intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-3 and FAR 6.302-l(b) (ii). The proposed source is BRK Lift Truck, LLC. The procurement is to combine four (4) Forklifts Repairs and Maintenance. The four forklifts consist of Doosan, Telehandler, Hyster and Raymond. Each forklift will have preventative maintenance and hours not to exceed for repairs.

This requirement will be from FY25 through FY26. This is Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract for Training. Background
The Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) is responsible for utilizing Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to manage a diverse range of materials at its facilities. The agency owns several MHE vehicles, including four forklifts that are essential for operations. Due to the age and frequent breakdowns of three of these forklifts, there is a pressing need for a regular maintenance contract to ensure operational continuity and prevent mission failures caused by unpredictable work stoppages.

Work Details
The contract involves the periodic maintenance and repair of four forklifts: Doosan 1600, Caterpillar Telehandler, Hyster, and Raymond. Tasks include conducting safety checks, performing preventative maintenance such as oil changes and greasing, and addressing any repairs needed to keep the forklifts operational. The maintenance is crucial to avoid disruptions in material movement at the Navy's Chesapeake Beach Facility and Suitland facilities.

Period of Performance
The contract will be executed over a period spanning from Fiscal Year 2025 through Fiscal Year 2026.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Navy's Chesapeake Beach Facility and Suitland facilities located in Washington, DC.
