Forward Deployed Naval Forces Japan, Repair, Maintenance, Modernization, and Overhaul of Homeported CVNs   2

Background
The Command Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY), 7th Fleet, Pacific Command (PACCOM), and Ship Repair Facility-Japanese Regional Maintenance Center (SRF-JRMC) have a requirement to provide repair, maintenance, modernization, and overhaul (RMMO) of homeported United States Navy (USN) Nuclear Propulsion Hull Classed Aircraft Carriers (CVN).

CFAY is the headquarters for the US Navy's 7th Fleet Forward Deployed Naval Forces and is the permanent homeport for one USN CVN.

Work Details
The contractor shall accomplish ship repair, maintenance, modernization, and overhaul for FDNF CVNs during Selective Restricted Availability (SRA), CNO scheduled availabilities, Emergent Maintenance (EM), Continuous Maintenance (CM), and Continuous Maintenance Availabilities (CMAV).

Tasks include developing work specifications for government approval using provided drawings and data, planning for storage and installation of materials, submitting production schedules for review, providing condition reports for new or growth work, applying stringent change control procedures, ensuring quality assurance per contract specifications, maintaining digital records of generated data, and participating in periodic meetings to facilitate execution and status reporting related to FDNF CVN availabilities. The contractor must comply with NAVSEA Standard Items and Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual requirements.

Period of Performance
The contract's period of performance is from June 1, 2021 to May 31, 2026.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the US Naval Ship Repair Facility and JRMC Yokosuka.
