Description

Fortec Surgical Laser Rentals (or equal) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA)

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for the rental of surgical laser equipment and related services. The contract will be administered by the Network Contracting Office 22 and the San Diego VA Healthcare System. The purpose of this solicitation is to obtain support for per-case access to medical lasers and surgical equipment, including trained technicians, for patient care needs at the San Diego VA Healthcare System.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide rental services for medical laser equipment, disposables, and certified technicians to operate the equipment on specific scheduled days designated by the San Diego VA Healthcare System. The contractor must also offer live on-call support staff available 24/7 within a maximum of three-hour delivery time upon request. Additionally, the contractor is responsible for equipment installation, setup, preventive maintenance verification, and transportation of rental equipment and personnel that meet Department of Transportation regulations.
