UPDATE: Amendmant 0001 has been added to update the Performance Work Statement with a revised Period of Performance(POP). The POP has been extended from 60 days out to 180 days. A few questions with clarifications were also added. The Offeror acceptance date has NOT changed and is still 09/22/22 @ 2PM CST.

Solicitation

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District hereby announces a solicitation for Fort Peck Guide Bearing and Babbitt . The solicitation will close on 22 September 2022. The solicitation is restricted to Small Businesses.

Project Description:

This work includes the offsite refurbishment of one bearing and also including babbitting materials. The work includes shipping between the project and the contractor's refurbishment workshop. The Fort Peck unit 5 turbine guide bearing is a four part shell type with an upper and lower taper fit, and two .005 full face shims at each split line. The split line shims allow for field adjustment of the bearing ID. See Drawing No. 02-502-742.

The Primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code anticipated for solicitation is 221111, Electric Power Generation, Hydroelectric, with a size standard for Small Business of 500 employees.
