DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work includes maintenance dredging of Fort Myers Beach Harbor, Lee County, Fort Myers Beach, Florida and incidental related work. The work consists of a base and one option as shown in the project plans. Dredge the Federal Channel, wideners and settling basin to a 12-foot required depth plus 2 feet of allowable overdepth. Place all dredged material in the nearshore placement area as shown on the drawings. Incidental work also includes but is not limited to turbidity monitoring and environmental species monitoring. PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS: The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued on April 3, 2023 and bids will be due on May 3, 2022.NAICS Code 237990 Dredging and Surface Cleanup Activities, size standard $37.0 million. Magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.The Estimated Period of Performance is 140 calendar days for the base period, 20 calendar days for Option A work after issuance of Notice to Proceed (NTP). The stated time is inclusive of 60 calendar days to commence work. THIS IS A TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE.
