Fort Moore, GA - Install New Panera Bread

Background
This project is initiated by the Army and Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) for the installation of a new Panera Bread at Fort Moore, Georgia. The goal of this contract is to enhance the tenant space and improve the immediate exterior mall entrance to facilitate the establishment of the new restaurant.

Work Details
The contractor is responsible for installing new interior finishes and equipment as part of the development of an in-line Panera Bread. Improvements are limited to the tenant space and the immediate exterior mall entrance.

The contractor must also comply with various regulations including those related to privacy, fire protection, and equal employment opportunity. Specific tasks include maintaining good housekeeping practices to reduce fire risks, ensuring proper storage for flammable materials, notifying the Installation Fire Department during certain operations, and adhering to affirmative action requirements for minority and female workforce participation.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract will be defined upon award but will extend over several months as construction progresses.
