Background
The Fort Gregg-Adams Construction MA IDIQ is a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award contract issued for construction work at Fort Gregg-Adams, Virginia. The mission of this contract is to provide a broad range of real property repair and minor construction services to support the U.S. Army's operational needs. The goal is to ensure that facilities are maintained and improved to meet the standards required for effective military operations.

Work Details
The scope of work includes various construction tasks such as: administrative facilities, maintenance shops, child development centers, physical fitness centers, food service facilities, airfield structures (including rigid and flexible paving), roads, athletic fields, bridges, underground utilities, overhead utilities, gates, warehouses, and auditoriums.

Work will encompass multiple trades including: asbestos and lead-based paint testing and abatement; asphalt paving; HVAC systems; bridge and dam repair; carpentry; painting; concrete and masonry; demolition; plumbing; roofing; drywall; electrical work; steam fitting; electronic safety and security systems; storm water collection systems; excavation; thermal and moisture protection; finishes; utility distribution systems (gas, water); fire suppression systems; welding; flooring; site grading; drainage systems; exterior irrigation systems; and retaining walls.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is five years with an option for a six-month extension if needed.

The primary location for the performance of this contract is Fort Gregg-Adams in Virginia.
