Fort Hood, TX Portable Latrine Services Amendment 0001   2

Background
The contract provides portable latrine use by Soldiers and other occupants throughout Fort Hood, including training areas, ranges, and cantonment areas. The objective is to provide portable latrine and hand wash station services to Soldiers and occupants on Fort Hood where latrines are not available. The Contractor shall provide everything necessary to supply and service portable sanitation units (PSU’s), including handicap units, hand wash stations (HWS’s), and vault latrine service on an 'as needed' basis for the Directorate of Public Works (DPW) operations on Fort Hood.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide Portable Sanitation Units (PSUs) rental services on a monthly, weekly, and daily basis. Additionally, the Contractor shall provide rental services for Handicap Portable Latrine (HPU), Hand Wash Stations (HWSs), and vault pumping services. The work includes all supervision, labor, tools, units, equipment, materials, permits, repair parts, and transportation necessary to perform non-sewer latrine, hand wash station, and vault latrine services in accordance with the contract.

Period of Performance
The ordering period shall be for 60 months from 1 March 2023 to 29 February 2028.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Fort Hood, Texas which consists of the main cantonment, West Fort Hood, North Fort Hood, Military Ranges and Military Training Areas.
