Background
The requirement is for non-personal services to provide solid waste management services at Fort Hood, Texas. The contractor will be responsible for refuse collection, compost center operations, and landfill operations within the cantonment areas.

This contract aims to support the mission of maintaining a clean and safe environment at the military installation.

Work Details
The contractor shall perform all management, supervisory, professional services, clerical, and administrative functions necessary for solid waste management. This includes:
- Refuse Collection: All garbage, ashes, debris, trash, rubbish, and items intended for disposal generated in conjunction with activities in the contract areas. Exclusions include explosives, incendiary waste, hazardous waste, and pathological waste from medical and radiological processes.
- Compost Center Operations: Management of composting activities to ensure efficient processing of organic waste.
- Landfill Operations: Oversight of landfill activities to comply with environmental regulations and ensure proper waste disposal practices.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over multiple ordering periods starting from January 1, 2027, through November 30, 2030. Each ordering period varies in length from 11 to 12 months.
