Description

MICC-FB received a request for Chemical Testing and Treatment for the Closed Loop & Open Recirculation Tower Systems (HVAC) at Fort Bragg, North Carolina to include Pope Army Airfield, Camp Mackall, Simmons Army Airfield, Airborne Special Operations Museum and Linden Oaks. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform water treatment services and testing for all Water Systems (HVAC).

Background
The Mission and Installation Contracting Command at Fort Bragg (MICC-FB) is seeking to establish a contract for Chemical Testing and Treatment for the Closed Loop and Open Recirculation Tower Systems (HVAC) at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, including Pope Army Airfield, Camp Mackall, Simmons Army Airfield, Airborne Special Operations Museum, and Linden Oaks.

The goal of this contract is to ensure effective water treatment services and testing for all HVAC water systems overseen by the Fort Bragg Directorate of Public Works (DPW).

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform water treatment services and testing for approximately 911 systems.

This includes 243 Closed Loop systems for Chillers, 636 Closed Loop Heater System boilers, 14 Steam System boilers, and 18 Open Loop Cooling Towers. The contractor must conduct inspections and testing of Closed Loop Systems at least once every six months and Cooling Towers at least once a month.

The contractor is responsible for determining appropriate chemical residual levels and maintaining those levels to meet performance specifications as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).

Period of Performance
The contract will have an eight-month base period with four additional 12-month options.
