Description

The Contractor shall perform custodial services in accordance with the PWS and the technical exhibits (T.E.s). Caliber of the cleaning service desired will be specified as hospital grade quality. During performance of the contract the Government reserves the right to add or delete facilities and/or the level of services required. A modification to the contract will be executed to incorporate these changes.

Background
The United States Army Fort Belvoir, located approximately ten miles south of Alexandria, Virginia, is responsible for the operation and support of Child Development Centers (CDC) and Youth Centers. The mission of Fort Belvoir is to command, control, and operate assigned units while providing installation support to authorized activities and personnel.

The goal of this contract is to provide hospital-grade custodial services for the CDCs and Youth Centers to maintain a clean and safe environment for children and staff.

Work Details
The Contractor shall perform custodial services as defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and technical exhibits. Services include daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual cleaning tasks across eight buildings totaling approximately 223,274 square feet. Specific tasks include sweeping, dust mopping, vacuuming carpets, cleaning restrooms, kitchens, classrooms, hallways, lounges, and other areas.

The Contractor must ensure that all cleaning meets hospital-grade quality standards. Emergency services take precedence over daily tasks when necessary. The Contractor must also maintain physical security of Government property and adhere to environmental regulations regarding waste disposal.

Period of Performance
Base Period from 01 October 2026 to 01 September 2027.

Place of Performance
Fort Belvoir, Virginia; specifically at buildings 950, 1003, 1028, 1207, 1745, 1805 in Fort Belvoir and buildings 5023 and 5024 in Fort Belvoir North Area in Springfield, Virginia.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have a minimum of three years' experience in providing custodial services. The opportunity is set aside for '8(A) Competed (8A)' businesses. Bidders must provide documentation of their experience within five days of contract award.
