Background
This solicitation is issued by the U.S. Army as a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products under the format in subpart 12.6. The goal of this contract is to procure forklift simulators and related services to enhance training capabilities within correctional facilities. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside, emphasizing the agency's commitment to supporting small businesses.

Work Details
The contract includes the following items:
1. **Forklift Personal Simulator (sit down)**
- Brand Name: Simlog
- Quantity: 2 each
- Salient Characteristics: Includes replica floor pedals, steering/operation controls (levers), monitors, chair, mobility kit, and software license. Must be a multi-purpose unit with sit down counterbalanced features and a vibration system for the operator chair.

2. **Stand Up Lift Truck Personal Simulator**
- Brand Name: Simlog
- Quantity: 2 each
- Salient Characteristics: Includes replica floor pedals, steering/operation controls (levers), monitors, industrial controls, mobility kit, and software license. Should support both stand up counterbalanced lift truck and reach lift truck functionalities.

3. **Tech Support and Maintenance Agreement**
- Quantity: 1 each
- Salient Characteristics: Technical support and maintenance for all simulators listed above, including virtual visits and product training.

4. **Delivery and Installation**
- Quantity: 1 each
- Salient Characteristics: Delivery and installation of all simulators listed above; installers must submit SSNs for background checks prior to entering correctional facilities.

Period of Performance
Preferred delivery time is within 30 days from order placement.

Place of Performance
The products will be delivered to correctional facilities as specified in the solicitation.
