Forklift Side-shifting Fork Positioner   2

Background
The Subsistence Supply Management Office, Supply & Services Branch, Logistics Readiness Center (LRC) at Fort Dix, NJ has a requirement to purchase and install a Cascade Side Shifting Fork Positioner (Product# 55K-FPS-A351 or equal brand) on three electrical forklifts with a 4.5K capacity for the Subsistence Supply Management Office (SSMO) daily operations.

The goal of this contract is to enhance the operational efficiency of the forklifts by allowing operators to move the forks laterally and adjust them quickly for different pallet sizes without leaving their seats.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide and install side shifting fork positioners on three 4.5K electrical forklifts at their work site. The installation will be completed one forklift at a time. The contractor is responsible for providing all personnel, supplies, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, and other items necessary to fulfill the requirements outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW).

The specifications for the forklifts include:
- Electric four-wheel forklift with a 4,500 lb lift capacity
- Make: Clark
- Model: ECX20 Type E
- Four-wheel cushion tires suitable for indoor use
- Standard mast with a maximum fork height of 189 inches
- 42-inch forks
- 24-inch load center
- Truck weight of 7,850 lbs without battery.

Period of Performance
The estimated completion date for delivery and installation is 20 days after receipt of order (ARO).

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the Subsistence Supply Management Office (SSMO) Facility located at Logistics Readiness Center (LRC), 8411 Range Road, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (MDL), Fort Dix, NJ 08640.
