Forest Skidders with Wildland Firefighting Equipment   3

Background
The 409th Theater Contracting Command (TCC) has a requirement for 3 Forest Skidders with Wildland Firefighting Equipment to support Army Fire Departments in Europe. The goal of this procurement is to enhance firefighting capabilities in the region. Additionally, the contractor is required to develop and provide training sessions within two weeks after delivery of the equipment for at least 24 hours of onsite training for approximately 20 students in both English and German.

Work Details
The contract includes the following items:

1. **Forest Skidders** - Quantity: 3. Each skidder must include a firefighting apparatus as per attached Technical Specifications.

2. **Chassis and Cab** - Quantity: 3 (1 for each skidder). The contractor shall deliver a chassis and cab to complete the assembly of a Forest Skidder with Wildland Fire Fighting Unit according to Technical Specifications.

3. **Apparatus Body** - Quantity: 3 (1 for each skidder). The contractor shall deliver an apparatus body to complete the assembly of a Forest Skidder with Wildland Fire Fighting Unit according to Technical Specifications.

4. **Fully Assembled Fire Fighting Skidder** - Quantity: 3 (1 for each skidder). The contractor shall deliver a fully assembled Forest Skidder with Wildland Fire Fighting Unit according to Technical Specifications.

All items require inspection and acceptance at the contractor’s manufacturing plant before delivery.

Period of Performance
Delivery is expected within 9 months after contract award.

Place of Performance
The equipment will be delivered to USAG Ansbach, Sigurd Mack IMCOM Europe Fire Fighting Training Center, Urlas Training Area, 91522 Ansbach-Katterbach, Germany.
