IMPORTANT NOTES:
Refer to Section L, Paragraph L.2, on Page 36 for detailed instructions regarding the submission of proposals, including the required documents and information to be provided.

An organized site visit is scheduled for 11 August, 2025 at 1000 AM hours PDT; please refer to page 40 for detailed information regarding the site visit.

All Requests for Information (RFI's) shall be submitted to the Contract Specialist, Tanya Torres on the attached RFI form not later than 1000 AM hours PDT, August 14th, 2025.

In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.

Background
The Los Alamos Canyon Aquatic Organism Passage Installation project is issued by the U.S. Forest Service, part of the Department of Agriculture. The mission of the Forest Service is to sustain the health, diversity, and productivity of the nation's forests and grasslands to meet the needs of present and future generations. The goal of this contract is to facilitate the installation of an aquatic organism passage to enhance ecological connectivity in the Cleveland National Forest.

Work Details
The scope of work includes a comprehensive range of tasks: mobilization, site preparation, erosion and traffic control, excavation, demolition, road obliteration, bypass route planning, bridge construction and alignment, final design of bridge girders and bearings, stream bed material installation, roadway paving, and various site improvements including drainage and restoration activities.

The contractor is responsible for field verification to satisfy all requirements outlined in the drawings, statement of work, and specifications. Project site cleanup involves removing all construction debris from National Forest Land and properly disposing of it according to local, state, and federal regulations.

Place of Performance
The work will take place on the Trabuco Ranger District within the Cleveland National Forest located in Riverside County, California.
