Background
The Groveland Storm Damage Repair project is initiated by the U.S. Forest Service, specifically targeting the Stanislaus National Forest. The primary goal of this contract is to repair landslides on two forest roads near Harden Flat, California, as part of a Federal Highways Emergency Relief for Federally Owned Roads (ERFO) funded project. Work Details
The scope of work includes: constructing retaining structures such as mechanically stabilized earth walls or reinforced soil fills; re-establishing the road prism; resurfacing the road to match existing surface types; vegetation clearing; drainage system construction; and erosion control within the repair areas.

The contractor is responsible for providing all necessary labor, tools, materials, and equipment to perform the work in accordance with specifications and industry standards. Cleanup tasks include removing all construction debris, asphalt, concrete slag, and properly disposing of petroleum spills according to regulations. The contractor must furnish dumpsters for waste disposal and ensure no materials are placed in private or government trash bins.
