This is a Request for Industry Feedback. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL QUOTATION OR BIDS. It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information requested.

The Government will not provide responses to individual comments garnered during this feedback request. Responses to this posting will be used to finalize the solicitation package, to include the plans and specifications as appropriate. This announcement is to assist the Savannah District in obtaining industry feedback.

A formal Solicitation announcement will be publicized in the beta.sam.gov. with the official solicitation/invitation for bid. All interested offerors will have an opportunity to respond to the official solicitation at that time.

The feedback provided from this Request for Industry Feedback will be discussed during a virtual industry day scheduled to take place on/or about October 2020. This industry day will be conducted virtually by WebEx. Details of the industry day will be posted on beta.sam.gov as an amended notice to this announcement.

Feedback is solicited in the following specific areas:

1. Content and details contained within Pre-Final plans and specifications.
2. Proposed CLIN schedule and options
3. Proposed schedule/duration provided for construction

Feedback should be provided no later than 18 Sep 2020 at 2:00pm ET from issuance of this announcement

Please note that Industry feedback will be shared with the Government project delivery team and Designer of Record/Architect- Engineer firm.

Forensic Laboratory: Primary facilities include administration areas, laboratory space, facility support area, Covered hardstand (mobile Laboratory area), organizational vehicle parking, Intrusion Detection System (IDS) installation, mass notification system, and Utility Monitoring and Control System (UMCS) connections. Measures in accordance with the Department of Defense (DoD) Minimum Antiterrorism for Buildings standards will be provided, plus enhanced AT/FP measures. Comprehensive building and furnishings related interior design services are required. Access for individuals with disabilities will be provided. Cyber Security Measures will be incorporated into this project. Sustainability/Energy measures will be provided. Facilities will be designed to a minimum life of 40 years in accordance with DoD's Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC 1-200-02) including energy efficiencies, building envelope and integrated building systems performance. Air Conditioning (Estimated 236 Tons).

Supporting facilities will include site development, utilities, limited back-up power source, and connections, lighting, paving, parking, walks, curbs and gutters, storm drainage, information systems, landscaping and signage. Heating and air conditioning will be provided by self-contained system.
