Background
The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) is tasked with delivering integrated and interoperable warfighting capabilities through advanced research, development, acquisition, testing, evaluation, and sustainment.

This contract aims to support the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Surface to Surface Missile Technical Project Office (SSM-TPO) in its Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) efforts to ensure battlespace dominance utilizing systems developed by Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace Weapon Systems (KDA), specifically the Naval Strike Missile (NSM) and Joint Strike Missile (JSM).

Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive support including design, development, testing, documentation, engineering advisement, Subject Matter Expert (SME) services, studies, and technology demonstrations.

Key tasks include:
1. Design Development and Review: Develop designs and fabricate technology demonstrators or prototypes; prepare technical data packages; review government-furnished information for compliance.
2. Design Analyses: Conduct mission analysis and military utility analysis; evaluate designs for cost savings; deliver technical data packages detailing design changes.
3. Operation Research: Perform statistical investigations of missile systems; conduct aerodynamic modeling and tactics investigation; provide verification and validation documentation for simulations.
4. Monthly Reporting: Provide a Contractor’s Monthly Progress and Status report detailing planned expenditures versus actual expenditures along with summaries of accomplishments and risks.
