Food: Oils/Fats for AFS/Galena Dining H

Background
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Alaska Fire Service, located at Fort Wainwright, AK, has a requirement for food supplies to support its dining facilities during the fire season. The mission of the BLM Alaska Fire Service is to provide adequate meals for firefighters and support personnel operating in various locations in Alaska. This contract aims to ensure that food service products are available for the AFS Dining Facility and AFS Galena Dining Facility, which operate during peak fire activity.

Work Details
The contractor will supply and deliver a variety of food service products, supplies, and equipment including but not limited to: fresh produce, frozen food, refrigerated food, perishable food, non-perishable food, canned food, paper products, cleaning supplies, and kitchen small wares. Specific items will be identified in individual BPA calls. The contractor must ensure timely deliveries to support a variable workforce that can increase significantly during fire outbreaks. Deliveries must adhere to FDA Food Code temperature requirements.
