Folsom Dam Vessel Exclusion Barrier and Debris Boo   3

Background
The Bureau of Reclamation, part of the U.S. Department of the Interior, is issuing this solicitation for the Folsom Dam Vessel Exclusion Barrier and Debris Boom project. The agency's mission includes managing water resources and ensuring the safety and functionality of water supply facilities.

The goal of this contract is to enhance the safety and operational efficiency at Folsom Dam by installing a new vessel exclusion barrier and debris boom.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. Remove and salvage part of the existing barrier on the Folsom Dam as indicated in the contract drawings.
2. Design, furnish, and install a new vessel exclusion barrier and debris curtain along with its components as specified in the solicitation documents.
3. Furnish and install an onshore anchor on the right-wing side of the dam.

Period of Performance
The contractor is required to begin performance within 7 calendar days after receiving notice to proceed and complete all work within 490 calendar days.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at Folsom Dam, located in Folsom, California.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be small business concerns as this acquisition is set aside exclusively for them. Contractors are required to furnish performance and payment bonds within 10 calendar days after award. Additionally, bidders must comply with all work requirements outlined in the solicitation.
