Follow-on Task Order Award - Program, Engineering, and Test Support for EW Programs

R&M Technology Solutions, LLC, Alexandria, Virginia (N00173-19-D-2003) was awarded a logical follow-on to an existing order, N00173-20-F-2005, to R&M Technology Solutions under an existing NRL Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (MA IDIQ) contract vehicle for Program, Engineering, and Test Support for specific EW Programs.

The award of this task order to R&M was issued under the authority of fair opportunity exception at FAR 16.505(b)(2)(i)(C), which states the order must be issued on a sole-source basis in the interest of economy and efficiency because it is a logical follow-on to an order already issued under the contract, provided that all awardees were given a fair opportunity to be considered for the original order. This action is a logical follow-on to work performed under N00173-20-F-2005 by R&M. N00173-20-F-2005 was awarded to R&M in November 2019 after providing for fair opportunity to all five (5) vendors under the MA IDIQ to propose on the requirement.
