Background
The Federal Occupational Health (FOH) is seeking to modernize its IT systems to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction. This initiative aims to address challenges posed by legacy systems that hinder operational efficiency and data management.

The goal of the contract is to develop a solution utilizing Low Code Application Platforms (LCAP) such as Appian and Salesforce, which will streamline processes related to Inter-Agency Agreements (IAAs) and invoicing for services rendered. The modernization effort follows an assessment conducted in 2020 that recommended retiring outdated systems and adopting a microservices architecture.

Work Details
Vendors are required to submit a Business Case demonstrating how their proposed solution will meet the following objectives:
- Interface with existing LCAP applications used for managing IAAs and invoicing customers, including Customer Account Module (CAM), IAAs, and PRICES.
- Adhere to FOH's platform governance model for software development and deployment.
- Provide capabilities for storing patient health records securely.
- Adapt to security-related events as mandated by the Department of Homeland Security and HHS.
- Reduce FOH's IT system footprint, minimizing maintenance costs while enhancing functionality and data access.
- Implement a microservices module approach focusing on various modules including Customer Module, Data Catalog Module, Scheduling Module, Provider Module, Billing Module, Eligibility of Services Module, Data Lake, and Electronic Health Record.
