Background
The FALCO program is initiated by the Air Force to enhance the capabilities of the AGR-20F weapon system. The primary objective is to convert Government Furnished Material WGU-59/B guidance sections to the True Pulse Logic Algorithm developed by BAE Systems, which is essential for meeting the increased inventory objectives set by HAF AF/A5RC.

This modification aims to ensure that the AGR-20F can effectively engage Group 3 Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) in air-to-air combat scenarios.

Work Details
The contract involves the conversion of WGU-59/B guidance sections to BAE Systems' True Pulse Logic Algorithm. This effort is critical for fulfilling an urgent operational need and includes an initial quantity under CLIN 0001, with a follow-on option under CLIN 1001 contingent on future funding.

The justification for this sole-source procurement is based on BAE Systems being the only vendor capable of delivering the required specialized software without unacceptable delays, as they have been the sole developer since the inception of the air-to-air counter UAS program.

The performance will primarily take place at facilities associated with BAE Systems, with potential delivery locations being determined based on operational requirements.
