FMC Carswell Mobile Ultrasound and Echocardiogram

Background
The Federal Medical Center (FMC) Carswell, located in Fort Worth, Texas, is seeking to award a contract for Mobile Ultrasonography and Echocardiogram services. This requirement aims to provide essential medical imaging services to female Adults in Custody (AICs) housed at FMC Carswell and the adjacent Federal Prison Camp (FPC).

The goal of the contract is to ensure timely and effective medical care for AICs through mobile services.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing mobile ultrasound and echocardiogram services, including:
- Reviewing all imaging requests for special instructions and confirming studies based on physician orders.
- Performing 2D echocardiograms and having the capacity to perform 3D echocardiograms.
- Conducting ultrasound examinations of various internal organs as requested.
- Performing venous doppler studies.
- Providing professional interpretations of all tests with reports delivered within 48 hours. Immediate notification to FMC Health Services is required if abnormalities are noted.
- Responsible for equipment transportation, maintenance, service coverage, training, and staffing; FMC will only provide electrical power.
- Providing films from each clinic on CD-ROM within two weeks of service. All medical records remain the property of FMC Carswell.

Period of Performance
The contractor will provide mobile ultrasonography services four times a week during scheduled hours from 06:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., excluding federal holidays. Echocardiogram services will be provided once a week or as needed.

Place of Performance
Services will primarily be performed on-site at FMC Carswell, located at 'J' Street Building 3000, Fort Worth, TX 76127, with potential services at the adjacent Federal Prison Camp.
