Flooring Installation and Repainting

Background
The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division at China Lake, CA is seeking to procure flooring installation and repainting services on a full and open competitive basis. This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside, allowing all responsible sources to submit quotes for consideration.

The goal of the contract is to enhance the facilities by installing new flooring and repainting existing walls, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks as outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW):
1) Asbestos Remediation: The existing flooring has tested positive for asbestos, requiring abatement in accordance with UFGS Section 02 82 00.
2) Prepare Subfloor: Repair any damaged concrete as per UFGS Section 03 01 00.
3) New Flooring: Install approximately 1,050 square feet of new vinyl flooring and cove base according to UFGS Section 09 65 00.
4) Prepare Walls: Clean all walls and repair damaged drywall.
5) Paint Walls: Repaint all walls (approximately 2,050 square feet), including wall-mounted conduit and panduit.

Period of Performance
The contract performance period is expected to begin within calendar days after receiving the award and must be completed within a specified timeframe of calendar days thereafter.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must meet several requirements to qualify for this contract: they must be certified through Defense Logistics Information Services (DLIS) to access Controlled Unclassified Information, and provide any required performance and payment bonds. Additionally, this opportunity is designated as a Small Business Set Aside - Total (SBA).
