Background
The solicitation is for a construction project at Building 5333 in Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER), Alaska. The project involves floor repair, lead-based paint removal, and concrete polishing. The contractor is required to provide all labor, materials, warranties, tools, equipment, supervision, and other necessary items to complete the work as described in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Work Details
The scope of work includes abatement of lead-based paint and asbestos-containing materials from the floor of the entire building, which is approximately 12,150 square feet. Additionally, the contractor must supply their own equipment for abatement and concrete repairs/polishing as no government equipment or assets will be used for the project. After abatement, the floor will be polished to a flat surface with a uniform sheen and a concrete seal coating will be applied to prevent future stains and facilitate easier cleanup.
