The United States Coast Guard (USCG) requires technical and administrative support services for a firm fixed price purchase order. The order will provide four (4) five-day courses on flood response in the urban environment. The course objective is to prepare students to utilize response platforms and specialized equipment in the flooded urban environment, flooded waterways and bays, enclosed ports, and any other flood effected area. The secondary objective is to allow USCG subject matter experts (SMEs) to shadow the contracted instructors and be trained by them for the purpose of serving as lead flood response instructors in the future (train the trainer).
Background
The United States Coast Guard (USCG) requires contractor technical and administrative support services for a firm fixed price purchase order. The Contractor will provide four (4) five-day training courses on flood response in the urban environment. The course objective is to prepare students to utilize response platforms and specialized equipment in the flooded urban environment, flooded waterways and bays, enclosed ports, and any other flood effected area.
The secondary objective is to allow USCG subject matter experts (SMEs) to shadow the contracted instructors and be trained by them for the purpose of serving as lead flood response instructors in the future (train the trainer).

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide a Project Manager who shall be responsible for all Contractor work performed under this contract. The Contractor shall provide qualified personnel to perform all requirements specified in this contract. The minimum number of instructors shall be four. Instructors must have at least five (5) years of instructor experience in the field related to this task order and have recent or active response experience with local, state, regional and national level flood and water rescue events as an Urban Search and Rescue (US&R) Member.

Period of Performance
This requirement will be awarded with a one (1) base year period. The targeted dates for the courses are listed: Course number 1: April 4th – April 8th 2022, Course number 2: April 11th – April 15th 2022, Course number 3: June 6th – June 10th 2022, Course number 4: June 13th – June 17th 2022.

Place of Performance
The place of performance will be contractor site for preparation, and at Atterberry-Muscatatuck Urban Training Center (MUTC) in Seymour, Indiana for execution.
