Background
The solicitation is for a flood control project in the Amite River and Tributaries, Comite River Basin, Comite River Diversion Project, Cypress Bayou Rock Chute, East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana. The procurement is a competitive set-aside for 100% small business firms only. The resulting contract shall be firm fixed price (FFP).

Work Details
The proposed work consists of channel excavation; placing embankment material, geotextile, bedding, riprap stone; clearing and grubbing; design and construction of an unwatering system; traffic control; turf establishment and maintenance; surfacing; stockpiling; and other work incidental thereto.

The estimated magnitude of the project is between $10,000,000.00 and $25,000,000.00.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed in the East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana.
