Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21 intends to award a sole source purchase to Nevada Boiler Parts LLC, 3017 SHERIDAN ST STE 1, LAS VEGAS, NV 89102 for two (2) TB-14110-2A, FLOFAB Heat Exchangers.

This action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13 and 41 USC 1901, only one will meet the Government s needs. Only one source is capable of responding due to the unique or specialized nature of the supplies and/or services. It is the Governments belief that the proposed candidate can make the immediate repairs needed to prevent clean steam generator failures in the OR, SPS and other servicing areas.

Due to the immediate nature of the services and products required. This is not a request for competitive proposals. This is a notice to Sole Source to Nevada Boiler Parts LLC.

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21 is issuing a sole source purchase to Nevada Boiler Parts LLC for two TB-14110-2A FLOFAB Heat Exchangers. This action is necessary due to the unique and specialized nature of the supplies required, which are critical for preventing clean steam generator failures in operating rooms and other servicing areas.

The urgency of this requirement necessitates that the government negotiate with only one source, as it believes that Nevada Boiler Parts LLC is uniquely capable of fulfilling this need.

Work Details
The contractor, Nevada Boiler Parts LLC, is required to provide two TB-14110-2A FLOFAB Heat Exchangers. These supplies are essential for immediate repairs needed to maintain operational integrity in the VA Southern Nevada Health Care System.

The contract does not involve competitive proposals due to the emergency nature of the requirement.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the VA Southern Nevada Health Care System located at 6900 North Pecos Road, Las Vegas, NV 89086.
