Background
The USDA Forest Service is issuing this contract for renovations to the Ashley Lake day use area, located approximately 20 miles west of Kalispell, MT.

The goal of the contract is to enhance the facilities at this recreational site, which aligns with the agency's mission to provide quality outdoor experiences and maintain natural resources.

Work Details
The scope of this contract includes extensive renovations at the Ashley Lake Boat Launch & Day Use area.

Key tasks involve: reconstructing picnic sites, constructing a parking area, trail, and raised walking path.

Specific work items include: clearing and grubbing; parking area excavation and embankment; removal and salvage of existing fire rings; furnishing and installing picnic area structures; installing a precast concrete vault toilet; hauling and placing barrier rock; reconditioning access roads; constructing drain dips; trail excavation and embankment; raised walking path construction; hauling and placing surface course aggregate; seeding and mulching disturbed areas; and all other indirect items necessary to complete the project as per contract documents.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from August 29, 2025, to July 31, 2026.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at the Ashley Lake day use area, approximately 20 miles west of Kalispell, MT.
