FL-NATIONAL KEY DEER REFUGE-ROOF REPLACE
Background
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) is issuing this solicitation for the roof replacement of Cudjoe Quarters #8, located in Cudjoe Key, Florida.

The mission of the FWS is to conserve, protect, and enhance fish, wildlife, and plants and their habitats for the continuing benefit of the American people. This contract aims to provide a reliable and long-term roofing solution that protects federal assets, supports continued facility use, and reduces risks associated with structural deterioration and storm-related damage.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision required for the complete removal and replacement of the existing roof structure and roofing system on the building.

The existing roof will be demolished and replaced with a newly constructed 3:12 slope hip roof system finished with an aluminum standing seam metal roof. The work includes demolition of the current roofing system, structural framing modifications, installation of a new roof deck, underlayment, flashing, trim, ventilation systems, and final installation of the new roofing system. All work must comply with applicable federal, state, local codes and regulations as well as manufacturer installation requirements.

The period of performance for this project is from August 17, 2026 to January 18, 2027.
