Description

This is notice of intent for single source award to Hyatt Regency Houston Intercontinental Airport in Houston, Texas.

Background
The Department of Homeland Security, Office of Procurement Operations (OPO), Science and Technology Acquisition Division (S&TAD) intends to award a single source contract to the Hyatt Regency Houston Intercontinental Airport located at 425 North Sam Houston Parkway East Houston, Texas 77060 on behalf of the DHS, Science and Technology (S&T) Directorate, Office of Science and Engineering (OSE), Operations and Requirements Analysis (ORA) for event meeting space and audiovisual (AV) equipment in support of the First Responder Resource Group (FRRG) annual conference. The FRRG is a DHS S&T working group under the First Responder Disaster Resiliency Portfolio. The FRRG meeting is a three day, in-person event that facilitates the discussion, review, and collection of capability needs from the responder community, and it assists DHS S&T in providing DHS selected solution development options to address the responders’ needs. Additionally, the event features daily keynote speakers from DHS Leadership, panels of DHS operational agencies, and technology and equipment informational exhibits by solution providers from across the responder community. It also highlights vendors who were selected after a national Request For Information (RFI) and display their different technology solutions in the areas of Computer Vision, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, Digital Credentials, HealthTech, and Sensors. This event is essential to compile the experience and knowledge of the first responders who volunteer to share their understanding of the needs of the responder community to assist DHS in solution development.

Work Details
DHS/OSE/ORA requires in-person meeting space for FRRG annual event to be held in Houston, Texas May 2-4, 2023. The contractor shall provide event space that will accommodate a minimum of 160 participants, with main events space, breakout rooms, and audiovisual equipment necessary and staff necessary to meet meeting objectives.
