Fire Truck Annual Aerial Ladder Inspection, NDT, and Load Test

Background
The Naval Facilities Engineering Command Hawaii (NAVFAC Hawaii) serves as the engineering command for Commander Navy Region Hawaii (CNRH). The purpose of this contract is to ensure that firefighting trucks are fully operational through annual aerial inspections and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT).

Work Details
The contractor is required to perform an annual aerial ladder inspection, load test, and NDT certifications on a Dash aerial firetruck. This includes:
1. Conducting inspections and testing of the elevating platform in accordance with NFPA 1911 requirements.
2. Performing load tests and non-destructive testing to verify compliance with manufacturer specifications and NFPA 1911 recommendations.
3. Providing all necessary materials, supplies, tools, equipment, transportation, freight, and labor to complete the tasks outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
4. Coordinating the schedule with the NAVFAC KO for timely execution of services.
5. Ensuring adequate transportation of materials from storage areas to the job site, delivering components in original packaging clearly marked with brand and project reference.
6. Protecting existing surfaces during work to prevent damage and repairing any damages caused by contractor activities.

Period of Performance
The contract must be completed no later than 180 calendar days from the award date.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at NAVFAC Hawaii, located at 400 Marshall Road, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii 96860-3139.
