This Pre-solicitation notice is not a request for formal proposals or quotes. Solicitation, 36C24625Q0460, will be issued on or about 12 March 2025. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Salisbury VAMC, has a requirement for a Fire Suppression Testing.

This acquisition is being solicited as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside on the open market. The applicable NAICS Code is 561210 with a size standard of $47 Million. Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and testing of various fire suppression systems at the Salisbury VAMC. Key tasks include:
1. Performing annual inspections, maintenance, and testing on 17 Wet Pipe Fire Sprinkler Systems across multiple buildings and 1 Dry Pipe Fire Sprinkler System.
2. Conducting semi-annual inspections and testing of Kitchen Hood Suppression Systems in designated buildings.
3. Carrying out quarterly inspections and maintenance for additional fire sprinkler systems and standpipe systems.
4. Providing quarterly reports as per the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
5. Offering ITM services for fire extinguishers and emergency repair services as needed.
6. Completing a five-year internal inspection for backflow preventers, check valves, alarm valves, dry valves, and system piping across specified buildings.

The contractor must also ensure that all work complies with the latest National Fire Protection Association standards.

Period of Performance
The contract will span one base year starting June 1, 2025, with options for four additional years.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the W.G. (Bill) Heffner VAMC located in Salisbury, North Carolina.
