Fire Suppression System Inspection Services

Background
The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) Federal Correctional Complex (FCC), Beaumont, TX, intends to make an award to a single responsible entity for the 2024 Semi Annual Hood, Annual Fire Suppression, and Annual Fire Alarm Inspections consisting of one base year period and four option years. FCC Beaumont is a Correctional Complex with a rated capacity of 4,146 inmates. Security levels range from minimum security to high security. The complex includes a United States Penitentiary (USP), Federal Correctional Institution Medium (FCIM), Federal Correctional Institution Low (FCIL) and a Satellite Camp Prison (SCP). The first institution was activated in 1996 and the final activation occurred in 1999.

Work Details
The Contractor will be responsible for conducting semi-annual Fire Suppression - Ansul inspections in April and October of each year for various systems in different security institutions. This includes maintenance for multiple Ansul systems with specific gallon capacities and fusible links.
Additionally, the Contractor will conduct annual fire alarm inspections for each year of the contract period. The Contractor has sole responsibility and discretion for choosing and implementing the manner and method of performing tasks outlined in this Statement of Work, so long as the requirements are met.

Period of Performance
The contract will be for a Base Year from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024, with four option year periods: Option Year 1 from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025; Option Year 2 from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026; Option Year 3 from January 1, 2027, to December 31, 2027; and Option Year 4 from January 1, 2028, to December 31, 2028.
