Fire Suppression Halon Services

Background
The contract is issued by the 325th Maintenance Group at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida. The mission of the group involves ensuring the operational readiness of fire suppression systems, specifically Halon fire extinguishers. The goal of this contract is to provide comprehensive inspection, testing, recharging, and maintenance services for Halon fire extinguishing systems to ensure their serviceability and compliance with safety regulations.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all personnel, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, supervision, and all other items necessary to perform operations related to the inspection, testing, recharging, and maintenance of Halon fire extinguishing systems (Halon 150lb). Services include:
- Performing inspections and tests in accordance with the manufacturer's installation and maintenance manual and Air Force technical orders.
- Ensuring that all personnel are trained and certified in the maintenance of each fire extinguishing system.
- Providing emergency services within 1 hour during normal duty hours and 24 hours outside normal duty hours for repairs or recharges of inoperative or discharged systems.
- Obtaining replacement parts from the manufacturer for specific makes and models being serviced. Parts replaced remain the property of the government. The contractor will be reimbursed for parts at either the manufacturer's published list price or contractor's invoice, whichever is less.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026 for initial services with options extending through June 30, 2028.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Tyndall Air Force Base in Florida.
