Description

The Contractor shall perform all inspections, testing, maintenance, repair work, and service calls on fire protection and mass notification systems located throughout the Fort Hood Military Reservation in support of the Directorate of Public Works (DPW). Performance under this contract is to provide Fire Protection Services which includes, but is not limited to, annual fire alarm inspection and repair, fire suppression system testing and repair, service call work and repair services. The requirement is to maintain the facilities within the boundaries of Fort Hood in compliance with the Fire Protection requirements defined in the United Facilities Criteria (UFC).

Background
The Directorate of Public Works (DPW) at Fort Hood Military Reservation has issued a contract for fire protection and mass notification systems services. The objective is to maintain the facilities within the boundaries of Fort Hood in compliance with the Fire Protection requirements defined in the United Facilities Criteria (UFC). The contract work shall be performed at Fort Hood, Texas, which consists of the Main Cantonment, West Fort Hood, and North Fort Hood areas. The period of performance shall be for one Base Year and four one-year option periods.

Work Details
The Contractor shall perform all inspections, testing, maintenance, repair work, and service calls on fire protection and mass notification systems located throughout the Fort Hood Military Reservation in support of the Directorate of Public Works (DPW). This includes annual fire alarm inspection and repair, fire suppression system testing and repair, service call work, and repair services. The Contractor shall provide personnel, management, and any other items and services necessary to perform Fire Protection Services as defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The Contractor shall implement a complete quality control program that identifies potential and actual problem areas in providing requirements of the contract as specified and results in corrective action throughout the life of the contract. The Quality Control Plan (QCP) shall be provided to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for approval ten calendar days after contract award date.

Period of Performance
The period of performance shall be for one Base Year and four one-year option periods. The individual task orders shall be firm fixed price. The Period of Performance reads as follows: Base Year: 1 April 2022 – 31 March 2023; First Option: 1 April 2023 – 31 March 2024; Second Option: 1 April 2024 – 31 March 2025; Third Option: 1 April 2025 – 31 March 2026; Fourth Option: 1 April 2026 – 31 March 2027

Place of Performance
The work to be performed under this contract shall be performed at Fort Hood, Texas which consists of the Main Cantonment, West Fort Hood, North Fort Hood East range and West range areas.
