07/24/2025 - Amendment 0001 "Extension of the quote deadline to 07/30/25. The POC was unable to host site visits during the initial period stated. As a result, no later than 07/30, another amendment to the solicitation will confirm the site visit date and time as well as an additional extension to the RFQ."

07/29/2025 - Amendment 0002 "The purpose of this amendment (0002) is to: a) Extend the deadline to Friday, 08/08/2025. b) Site visit will be held on Thursday, 7/31/25, at 11 am ET. Background
The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), part of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) under the Department of Commerce, is responsible for the stewardship of living marine resources. This contract aims to upgrade and replace the fire alarm system at the NOAA Northeast Fisheries Science Center located in Milford, CT, ensuring compliance with safety standards and enhancing operational efficiency.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide all materials, equipment, labor, and supervision necessary to remove the existing Simplex 4100U fire panel and replace it with a new POTTER brand or equal addressable fire alarm system. The work includes installation of addressable panels, detectors, pull stations, strobes, and wiring for multiple buildings including Building #1, Building #2, Building #3, Building #10, and one Hazmat Shed at the Milford CT lab.

The contractor must also furnish and install all necessary hardware and programming services to ensure proper operation. Additionally, two hours of training and commissioning for two facility personnel are required.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at NOAA/NEFSC located at 212 Rogers Avenue, Milford, CT 06460.
