Background
The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD) is issuing a Blanket Ordering Agreement (BOA) for fire alarm and fire protection services. The goal of this contract is to provide comprehensive support for fire alarm related projects primarily in existing energetic processing, manufacturing, and disposal facilities. This includes engineering investigations, design, construction, operation, maintenance, training, and testing of fire alarm systems.

Work Details
The contractor will provide labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and testing for various fire alarm related projects. The scope of work includes:
- Engineering investigation and analysis
- Design
- Construction
- Operation
- Maintenance
- Training and testing of fire alarm systems
- Engineering investigation and analysis for fire suppression systems
- Any other incidental construction trades required to complete each project. All work must comply with applicable federal, state, and local codes and standards including NAVSEA OP-5 Ammunition and Explosives Safety Ashore and National Fire Codes published by the NFPA.

Period of Performance
This is a five-year ordering agreement commencing on the effective date of the Master BOA with annual reviews to determine continuation based on performance.

Place of Performance
Work will be performed at various locations including NSF Indian Head, Stump Neck Annex in Maryland, Dahlgren Naval Base in Virginia, Washington Navy Yard in D.C., Baltimore MD, AP Hill VA, Yorktown VA, Picatinny Arsenal NJ, McAlester OK, and several other NSWC IHD detachments across the U.S.
