You are invited to submit a proposal in response to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Glenn Research Center's (GRC) SS-CLS solicitation. The principal purpose of this requirement is focused on the demonstration and characterization of a V-Band cross-link capability to enable NASA to assess the potential for V-Band cross-links to enable low latency transmission of large volumes of science data and to provide opportunities for an academic institution(s) to perform experiments using the V-Band cross-link capability.

NASA will conduct this acquisition as a small business set-aside competition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 541715 and the small business size standard is 1,000 employees. This competitive acquisition will result in a Firm-fixed Price (FFP) contract. The anticipated contract award date and effective date is on or about September 30, 2024. The contract will be performed offsite at the Contractor's facilities. Potential offerors should pay close attention to all solicitation instructions.

This NRA does not commit NASA GRC to pay any proposal preparation costs, nor does it obligate NASA GRC to procure or contract for these services. This request is not an authorization to proceed and does not authorize payment for any charges incurred by the Offeror for performing any of the work called for in this solicitation. All questions regarding this NRA should be submitted in writing, electronically to Tyler Braden, Contracting Officer, at tyler.r.braden@nasa.gov on or before 5:00pm ET on August 2, 2024. Proposals submitted in response to this solicitation shall be due no later than 5:00 PM ET on August 9, 2024.
