Final CH-47 Block I Production

The Army Contracting Command-Redstone proposes to acquire on an other than full and open competitive basis, award of a single source indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (ID/IQ) contract for the procurement of CH-47F multi-year II configuration new build and or renew aircraft with the ability to issue Firm Fixed Price (FFP) or Fixed Price Incentive (FPI) Delivery orders. This requirement will procure up to 159 CH-47F Multi-year II configuration aircraft for USG and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers. This is a sole source requirement to The Boeing Company, CAGE Code 77272, because this service must be acquired from a manufacturing source(s) specified on a source control or selected item drawing as defined by the current DoD-STD-100. A technical data package for full and open competition is not available within the Government for this procurement. Under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 (a) (2) (ii), "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/, looking under qualification procedures for aviation requirements. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by this Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of the release of the solicitation. However, the solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above.
