Background
The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) in Orlando, FL, is responsible for supporting the training systems of the United States Navy (USN) and the United States Marine Corps (USMC).

The agency intends to increase the Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract ceiling under the fifth iteration of the Fielded Training Systems Support (FTSS V) Multiple Award Contract (MAC) for Contractor Operation and Maintenance Services (COMS) and Contractor Instructional Services (CIS). This increase is necessary to meet fleet requirements and avoid unacceptable delays in training support.

Work Details
The FTSS V MAC will provide Contractor Operation and Maintenance Services (COMS) and Contractor Instructional Services (CIS) for aircrew and maintenance training, as well as surface and sub-surface simulator/device/training systems/classroom support.

These services are required at approximately twenty-nine USN and USMC sites covering twenty-four weapons platforms and over nine hundred training devices. The sources of these requirements include various naval units, wings, squadrons, training centers, and foreign military sales customers. The contract ceiling is set to increase by approximately $720 million without extending the period of performance.

The services will be performed at approximately twenty-nine sites across the United States Navy and Marine Corps.
