The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) Point Mugu, CA has awarded a Firm-Fixed Price contract in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, to New Wave Design & Verification LLC, 10260 Viking Drive, Suite 250, Eden Prairie, MN 55344-4559. The contract delivery date is 19 July 2024. The contract value is $1,404,458.34 and provides upgrades to the Fibre Channel Diagnostic Tool for software and hardware interface of New Wave V1151 XMC for the Cyber Test & Evaluation (T&E) Division. New Wave Design & Verification, LLC is the original designer and manufacturer of the V1151 (400-01151-12-00) XMC and is currently the only source with the requisite knowledge, experience, and technical expertise to modify and develop new capability within their proprietary Fibre Channel Diagnostic Tool. The upgrades of the current Fibre Channel Diagnostic Tool requires modification of the FPGA code on the V1151 XMC, where New Wave owns the proprietary intellectual property contained in this code.
