This amendment is to include the answer to the RFI that was submitted.

The 97th Contracting Squadron, Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma, is issuing this Request for Quote (RFQ) for Fiber Connectivity to a modular facility (LMERWS) at Ebbing ANGB, Fort Smith, AK. This service will include the purchase and installation of 24 strands SMF from Building 182 to the LMERWS control panel - an estimated distance of 850ft. Please see attachments for more information.

Any questions shall be submitted via email to the below point of contact by 4 September 2024 at 2:00 PM CST.

Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management Database (SAM) prior to submission of proposals. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the DoD SAM prior to submission of proposal will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a Unique Entity ID Number. The government recommends contractors register immediately to be eligible for a timely award. This solicitation will be available ONLY via the Internet at the following address: http://sam.gov. No paper copies of the solicitation will be furnished.

Background
The 97th Contracting Squadron at Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma, is issuing this Request for Quote (RFQ) for Fiber Connectivity to a modular facility (LMERWS) at Ebbing ANGB, Fort Smith, AK.

The goal of this contract is to provide essential fiber optic installation services to enhance communication capabilities at the facility.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and incidental items necessary to deliver a secure unit meeting the requirements defined in this Performance Work Statement (PWS).

Specific tasks include:
- Provide 24 strands of Single Mode Fiber (SMF) from Building 182 to the LMERWS control panel over an estimated distance of 850 feet.
- Connect the LMERWS control panel to Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) communication rack inside LMERWS.
- Prepare the site by coordinating with utility owners regarding preexisting utility lines.
- Furnish and install all necessary hardware and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes including Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) and International Building Code (IBC).
- Conduct site investigations to verify existing conditions and submit proposed site plans for government approval.
- Implement cybersecurity measures as per UFC 4-010-06 for facility-related control systems.
- Maintain communication with the Contracting Officer (CO) and the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) throughout the project.

Period of Performance
The total period of performance for this contract is 60 days from the award date.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at Ebbing ANGB, Fort Smith, Arkansas.
