Description

Please find RFQ N6449826Q5150 for the subject requirement of Glenair Fiber Connectors attached. The parts are required to be brand name Glenair. A SOW is provided in clause section C for additional details. Please submit traceability documentation along with your quote to confirm that the parts are coming from Glenair or an Authorized Distriubutor. This RFQ will close on 05/20/2026.

Background
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) is a Department of Defense entity responsible for research and development, test and evaluation, engineering, and fleet support for the Navy's ships, submarines, military watercraft, and unmanned vehicles.

This contract is specifically for NSWCPD Code 452, which focuses on Towed Communications and Advanced Undersea HM&E Engineering. The requirement supports the AN/BRR-6C Radio Receiving Set for CLB Class Schedule A deliveries. Glenair Inc. is the sole source for the required fiber connectors due to their unique qualifications in manufacturing connectors with a tin-zinc finish that meets military specifications.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide the following Glenair fiber connectors with a tin-zinc finish:
1. 48 units of part number 180-040TZ04-13-04-1S (MIL-Spec P/N: M28876/11B1S1T)
2. 16 units of part number 180-040TZ04-13-04-2S (MIL-Spec P/N: M28876/11B1S2T)
3. 10 units of part number 180-040TZ03-13-04-1S (MIL-Spec P/N: M28876/1B1S1T)
4. 28 units of part number 180-040TZ16-13-04-2-1P (MIL-Spec P/N: M28876/7B12P1T)
5. 12 units of part number 180-040TZ16-13-04-2-2P (MIL-Spec P/N: M28876/7B12P2T).

The connectors must be sourced directly from Glenair with no substitutions allowed. A Certificate of Compliance from Glenair confirming that all components meet technical specifications is required.

Period of Performance
Delivery is required within 8 weeks after contract award.

Place of Performance
The completed products are to be shipped to Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division, 1601 Langley Avenue, Bldg. 542, Philadelphia, PA 19112.
