Feeder #7 Repair

Background
Selfridge Air National Guard Base, MI 48045, intends to issue an Invitation for Bids to award a single firm fixed-price contract for services, non-personal, aimed at providing all necessary resources for the construction of 'VGLZ262005 - Electrical Repair Feeder 7'. This project pertains to Power and Communication Line and Related Structures Construction.

Work Details
The work includes surveying existing conditions, demolishing old cables, and installing approximately 5,706 feet of new underground and overhead conductors. Additional requirements involve full-depth pavement repairs, milling/overlaying, crack repairs, and work along the entire Perimeter Road and Jefferson Ave.

All tasks must comply with the Statement of Work (SOW), project specifications, and drawings. A Macomb County Soil Erosion Permit is required, which the contractor must obtain and adhere to.

Bidder Requirements
This project is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Bidders must possess appropriate contractor licensing and bonding capabilities. The contractor must also comply with subcontracting limitations that restrict payments to non-similarly situated entities to no more than 85% of the amount paid by the Government for contract performance.
