FDA NCTR On-Site Pathology Services   3

Background
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), through its National Center for Toxicological Research (NCTR), is seeking comprehensive on-site animal pathology and technical procedure services to support its animal research program.

NCTR is an internationally recognized research center that conducts toxicological studies aimed at protecting public health. The center has been utilizing contracted pathology services since its inception in 1972, partnering with various researchers across government agencies, industry, and academia.

Work Details
The contractor will provide a range of on-site pathology services including: necropsy of animals, tissue collection, histopathology, special staining techniques (such as immunohistochemistry and digital imaging), hematology, urinalysis, clinical chemistry, teratology techniques, reproductive and developmental toxicology techniques, respiratory pathology techniques (inhalation toxicology studies), sperm morphology and motility analysis, vaginal cytology, and mammary whole mounts.

Services will be performed in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS) and appendices. The contractor must ensure compliance with quality assurance and quality control standards throughout the performance of these services.

Place of Performance
All work will be conducted on-site at the NCTR located at 3900 NCTR Road, Jefferson, Arkansas 72079.
