Description

The Mississippi River Project Office requests a contract to update the windows and doors in welding shop at the Fountain City Service Base.

  • Supply, remove and dispose of existing doors and complete install of 2 (two) new insulated metal service doors and jambs.
  1. Shall be 4' wide by 7' tall.
  2. Minimum of 18-Gauge Steel Construction
  3. Shall swing inward and left-hand doors
  4. Shall include a 2' by 3'shatter proof glass window in each door.
  5. Shall include a commercial automatic door closer.
    1. Minimum of a 3 4 spindle
    2. Minimum of 105 degree of opening
    3. Heavy Duty spring
    4. Two speed control valves (Closing and Latching speeds)
  6. Doors will be brown in color. Can be painted after installation.
  7. Lever style door handles with locks (keyed the same for each door), no deadbolt required.
  8. Minimum R-value of 8
  • Supply and complete install of 8 (eight), 2 panel sliding vinyl windows, 4' by 4'
    1. Shall be 3 4 thick double paned argon filled Low-E glass
    2. Shatter proof glass window
    3. Cam style locks
    4. Color: White
  • Supply and complete install of 2 (two) insulated commercial steel overhead doors. Current door dimensions 16'-2 by 18'-1 tall.
  1. Minimum R-value: 17.50
  2. Install of new 3 angle mounted heavy duty 15 radius track.
  3. With full leaf commercial center hinges
  4. Install 27 spring bumper with 9 spring pair
  5. Install new jamb seal weatherstripping
  6. Door will be brown in color. Can be painted after installation.
  7. An existing overhead lifting device is installed in the building which limits the door travel. Contractor is responsible to inspect and assure new overhead door will function properly.
  8. The contractor shall use the existing opener model number: RHX 3/4hp 208-volt 3 phase heavy duty co. Jackshaft operator with built in receiver

Specification sheets on all proposed equipment shall be submitted with quote.
