FCI Three Rivers Water Treatment Services

Background
The Federal Correctional Institution, Three Rivers (FCI) is conducting market research for an upcoming requirement for water treatment services. The FCI, part of the Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP), aims to ensure proper maintenance and treatment of water systems at their facility located in Three Rivers, Texas.

This contract will involve a firm fixed pricing structure for an indefinite delivery requirements type contract.

Work Details
The contractor shall perform waterside maintenance services which include:

1. **Cooling Tower Condenser System**: Chemical treatment to prevent fouling from scale, corrosion, and biological growths, serviced twice per month. The system to be treated is Evapco with a total of 1,905 tons of air conditioning. All testing and chemical handling will be conducted by the contractor who must also furnish all chemicals.

2. **Closed Systems**: Chemical treatment for corrosion control serviced once a month. Systems include Chill Water System, Hot Water System, or combined systems. Each visit includes testing for inhibitor levels, filter changes, and adding chemical inhibitors as needed. If closed loop leaks exceed 10% of volume per month, it must be treated as an open system. Any equipment needed for water treatment will be supplied by the contractor.
