FCI Schuylkill Replace Water Heaters

Background
The U.S. Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons, is issuing this solicitation for the procurement of water heaters for FCI Schuylkill located in Minersville, PA. The goal of this contract is to acquire four AERCO SmartPlate Double Wall Water-to-Water Heaters to support the facility's operational needs.

Work Details
The contract requires the delivery of four (4) AERCO model SPDW42 WWP91A SmartPlate Double Wall Water-to-Water Heaters, each equipped with the following factory components: SP 150 psi kit and Communications Board. The heaters must meet or exceed the following specifications:
- Domestic Water Pressure Drop: 8 PSIG at maximum rated flow
- Ambient Operating Temperature Range: 23°F to 113°F
- Electrical Requirements:
- 120/1/60 Hz, 2 Amp
- 220/1/50 Hz, 2 Amp
- Standby Amperage Draw: 2 Amp
- High Limit “Tripped” Amperage Draw: 2 Amp
- Maximum Continuous Water Flow Rate: 90 GPM
- Maximum Boiler Water Pressure & Temperature: 150 PSIG at 250°F
- Maximum Domestic Water Operating Pressure: 200 PSIG
- Adjustable Temperature Control: Up to 180°F
- Adjustable High Limit Control: Up to 200°F
Delivery will be Freight on Board Destination to FCI Schuylkill, Interstate 81 & Route 901 W, Minersville, PA 17954.

Period of Performance
The delivery is expected by September 21, 2026.

Bidder Requirements
This procurement is a total small business set-aside. Bidders must demonstrate a consistent record of on-time deliveries and order accuracy. Contractors must be registered in at the time of quote submission.
